The Batman: Gotham City Chronicles Heroes Core Box is one of the two boxes that together comprise the complete base game of Batman: Gotham City Chronicles — Monolith's landmark DC Comics miniatures board game. This box contains everything the hero players need to play: 57 fully sculpted miniatures representing Gotham's finest heroes and allies, three Bat-Tablets for tracking hero stats in play, 25 Hero Sheets, a full complement of Batgadget and Equipment cards, and two double-sided game boards covering four iconic Gotham City locations.

The four game board environments — Subway, Dead End, Ace Chemicals, and The Bank — provide diverse tactical settings for the game's scenario-driven missions, each with its own layout, objectives, and atmosphere. The included Rulebook and Scenarios & Maps Book provide everything needed to get straight into play, while five colours of custom dice and 33 plastic cubes handle all in-game tracking needs.

This box also includes an exclusive Ex-Libris print by legendary DC Comics artist Jim Lee — one of the most prestigious illustrators in the game's history — making this a collectible art piece as well as a game component.
