Description
Halo: Flashpoint brings Spartan-on-Spartan firefights to the tabletop. The Recon Edition is the compact starter, with eight Spartan models, the rulebook, a play mat, card terrain, weapon and player cards, reference cards and dice: everything needed for small squad battles in the War Games arena.
Turns are fast and the activation system rewards positioning and timing, so games feel like a match of the video game rather than a slow wargame. The Deadzone engine underneath keeps line of sight and cover simple to resolve.
Why collectors want it
The Recon Edition is the cheapest way into Flashpoint and the box most players want sealed for their shelf. Sealed copies keep the full component count intact, which matters for a game built around its weapon card deck.
