Gotham City in Flames is the largest expansion ever produced for Batman: Gotham City Chronicles, introducing four new heroes — Cassandra Cain, Jace Fox, Ghostmaker, and Red Hood — alongside a sweeping branching narrative campaign with 11 adventure scenarios and multiple possible endings. The expansion introduces a full progression system, 2 mystery boxes concealing enemies revealed only in the final adventure, and optional scenarios compatible with Season 1 and Season 2 boards. Two dedicated Versus Mode scenarios round out the box. The Kickstarter edition features exclusive artwork by Jorge Jimenez and Tomeu Morey and was delivered directly to campaign backers, making retail copies exceptionally scarce.
