Description

At the origins of Gotham City, several powerful dynasties shaped the metropolis — the Waynes, the Cobblepots, the Kanes, the Elliots, and the Gates. Today, Zachary Gate, the last heir to the Gate family legacy, has donned the mask of the bomb-thrower known as The Architect. Driven by an ancient family rivalry and deep resentment toward the other founding dynasties, he uses stolen blueprints of the city's infrastructure to plant bombs with surgical precision, targeting the descendants of those he holds responsible for his family's fall from prominence. His suit grants him superhuman strength, making him a dangerous adversary in direct confrontation as well.

On the tabletop, The Architect is a uniquely resilient villain — his armoured outfit renders him completely immune to gas damage, an important defensive advantage in scenarios where area-effect hazards are in play.
