A simple and flexible mission generator for Warhammer 40,000, the Open War Mission Pack replaces fixed mission selection with a randomised card-draw system that produces over 60,000 possible mission combinations. Rather than playing a predetermined scenario, both players draw cards from five decks to determine their deployment zones, objectives, special rules, and any sudden death conditions — making every game feel fresh and unpredictable.

The five decks cover every element of mission setup: 12 Deployment cards for varied battlefield configurations, 9 Objectives cards defining win conditions, 18 Twist cards introducing special rules such as acid rain, orbital debris, or night fighting, 6 Ruse cards providing tactical advantages for the lower Power Rating player, and 6 Sudden Death cards giving significantly outnumbered forces an unexpected path to victory. Cards are presented with artwork on the reverse and an instruction booklet. Compatible with Warhammer 40,000 9th Edition open play games.
